The Story
The elephant, a symbol of wisdom, strength and prosperity, has long been a cherished motif in Indian art. Paired with blooming florals, this design reflects a harmonious blend of tradition and celebration. Handcrafted with care, this panel is a tribute to India's enduring craftsmanship and the stories that continue to inspire our homes.
“Heritage is not just the past, it's a way of living beautifully today.”
Inspiration
A darbar was never only a throne room. It was a stage for hospitality: the carpet unrolled, the canopy raised, the guest received with gold. This world brings that ceremony to the wall and the table, in processions of elephants, camel caravans, peacocks on palace balconies and the geometry of Rajasthan's palaces.
Part of the Darbar world. Hand-painted art panels with handwork on engineered wood, and heritage art prints with hand-finished borders.
Styling
Lives well in the living room, entrance, dining room, study. Hang or place it where morning or lamp light falls across it at an angle: the handwork and texture come alive in raking light. Pair with brass, raw wood and unbleached linen; let it be the one patterned object in its sightline.
Ideal spaces, as listed by our team: Living Room, Entrance, Dining, Study, Gallery Wall.
