The Story
Rooted in India's timeless symbolism, the lotus represents purity, prosperity and new beginnings. Paired with traditional auspicious motifs, this border panel is more than decor; it is a reminder of the beauty and blessings that surround us. Handcrafted with care, it brings a sense of tradition and warmth to everyday spaces.
“Some traditions don't just decorate walls, they fill homes with blessings.”
Inspiration
The lotus rises clean from mud, the oldest Indian image of beauty that owes nothing to its surroundings. Kamal is the quiet world: florals, ginkgo, tropical foliage and lotus borders, restrained in colour, made for rooms where you rest and think.
Part of the Kamal world. Hand-painted florals and botanical art prints on engineered wood, with traditional border detailing.
Styling
Lives well in the entrance, temple corner, living room. Hang or place it where morning or lamp light falls across it at an angle: the handwork and texture come alive in raking light. Pair with brass, raw wood and unbleached linen; let it be the one patterned object in its sightline.
Ideal spaces, as listed by our team: Entrance, Pooja Space, Living Room, Temple, Furniture.
